Workshop Hardware Tips

THE BEST TIP OF ALL TIME
Before you come to our store, take a digital picture of your repair problem with your cell phone or digital camera.
You won't believe how much it helps us to help you!

Loose screws. Boy, are you screwed when that happens.
How many times have you lost a small screw out of your eyeglasses? Or some other part falls loose. Keep this from happening by applying a dab of clear nail polish after tightening. The polish acts as a clear glue, but breaks loose eassily if needed.

Traveling Abroad. Don't forget to squeeze the limes! We're not talking drinks here.

When traveling abroad, particularly the tropics, you need to be wary of putting your fingers in your mouth before eating. Don't put your finger in your eye either if you get something in it, as bacteria or viruses introduced into your eyes are more likely to cause an infection or becoming ill than through the mouth.

Prior to eating or after using los banos, always ask for a small bowl of sliced limes. Readily available, squeeze the lime juice over your hand and vigorously rub your hands together. Lime juice is a natural disinfectant and will kill most types of bacteria or virus.

Salud!

Patience, Patience. an editorial by russ dubbels

Many of our customers come in to pick up items to complete a project. I too like to get started on a project. We look forward to getting started. We like the end result. We sometimes hate doing the job. What we both lack is: patience.

What to do. Take a deep breath.
