MARSHMALLOW GUN

CAUTION: This is a toy that shoots a projectile and should be used with parental supervision. While the ammo for this toy is safe to eat, this in no way should construe that all ammo is edible.

First there was the rock to stalk and kill one's prey. Killing prey took it's toll and man wanted to distance himself from the center of action so he invented the obsideon-tipped lance. Shortly after came the atfaliti. To overcome even longer distances the long bow and arrow was invented and used to hunt prey and enemies. In the 1500's gunpowder was converted to be used in muskets. Out of this came the evolution of modern day firearms including the rifled barrel, the repeating rifle, the machine gun and eventually the long-range cruise missle.

The world as we know it collapsed in the early 1990's when the long-barreled "spud gun" came into being, which added entertainment value to a killing sport. Even this innovation was displaced one day in the early 21st century when the mini-marshmellow shooter was designed by a little known American known at Tucker. While the world wonders how mankind will survive his own destructiveness, it is comforting to know that if America is invaded, the bad guys will be killed by a bunch of red-necks who think it was funny to stuff a marshmellow up the bad guy's nose from 100 yards, or take out their tank with a flaming pumpkin or potato shot from a spud gun!

On a positive note, I made two mini-marshmellow shooters for my grandsons Mike & Ben, the other day, and thought they might enjoy these toys for a half hour or so. Well the shoot-outs lasted for over three days and my daughter reported to me today that the two grandsons were still shooting up everything in sight. In fact, Michael asked I put together 11 more shooters so that he could give them to his buddies.

Here are the number and dimensions of parts needed:

· 2-1/2" PVC tees

· 2-1/2" PVC caps

· 2-1/2" PVC elbows

· 5-1/2" x 3" PVC pipe

· 1-1/2" x 4" PVC pipe

· 1-1/2" x 7" PVC pipe

Assemble the parts as shown in the photo below:

You can dry assemble to parts so they can be dis-assembled or they can be glued with clear PVC glue. Custom paint finishes or decals can be applied as desired.

Load the gun by pushing a mini-marshmallow down the barrel with a ram-rod dowel.

To fire: blow hard thru the mouthpiece. Your aim will be gained thru practice.

Have fun!
